Abstract :
Herein, we present one chiral metal-organic polymer, namely Cd2(μ-H2O)(L)2(4,4′-bpy)(1, 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine H2L = 2-(4-carboxyphenoxy)benzoic acid). The single crystal X-ray diffraction shows that polymer 1 crystallizes in the chiral P6522 space group, and the overall structural feature is the intriguing topological building of twisting chrial qtz-d net bulit on a higly rare distorted tetrahedral node, containing two types of helical substructure.
