Abstract
A novel fluorinated metal-organic framework, namely [Zn3(Int)2F4]·CH3OH·H2O (1) (Int = isonicotinate), has been synthesized under solvothermal conditions, and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, solid state fluorescent spectra, thermogravimetry analysis and gas adsorption studies. The unusual F− ions pillared structure of 1 exhibits a porous three-dimensional network with a pcu topology.
