Abstract
Dinuclear iron complexes of the tridentate ligand N,N-bis(2-ethyl-5-methylimidazol-4-ylmethyl)aminopropane (biap) with various carboxylates as coligands have been synthesized and characterized structurally by X-ray diffraction. The three complexes can be described by the general formula [FeIII2(μ-O)(biap)2(RCOO)2](ClO4)2(H2O)n.
