Abstract :
Reaction of Ph3SbCl2 with LiNdouble bond; length as m-dashCPh2 produces via ortho metallation of one of the phenyl groups of the imino functionality. This is the first reported example of ortho metallation of a phenyl ring by a pnictogen.
