Oil adsorption measurements during membrane filtration

Based on the interaction between oil droplets and membranes, its influencing factors and the oil adsorption measurement of membranes with different hydrophobic properties, a useful new method, state adsorption, is developed to evaluate oil affinity of membranes and predict filtration performance of suspensions. The adsorption has remarkable advantages over classical contact angles.
