Abstract
Technological progress is about improvements in the ways that goods and services are produced, marketed, and made available to the public. Technological progress plays a central role in a movement toward income growth and reducing poverty. Enormous study around the technology and technology transfer does it. This paper presents technology transfer strategy of Iranian industries. In the first step, related literature is reviewed to find factors that effect on technology transfers strategies. In the second step, the paper proposes an effective solution based on a combined ANP (Annalistic Network Process) and Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) approach to assist to select technology transfer strategies. Result shows the best strategy for Iran industries is joint venture (JV) with international company who owns the knowhow technology and shows the Joint R&D is the number one priority for government strategic plan, but because of conditions this strategy is next-to-last.
