Abstract :
This study examined the relationship between the employees’ empowerment and the organizational learning in Melli Bank of Iran using the Correlation method. Two hundred and eighty staff members of Tehranʹs central branch were statistical sample of this research. The data collection tools used for this research were two standardized questionnaires (one for employees’ empowerment and the other for organizational learning). The results of both descriptive and inferential statistics were studied. Data was analyzed using SPSS software version 15. This study showed that there is a direct and positive correlation between each of the employees’ empowerment components and the organizational learning. The observed relationships revealed that by increasing each of the employees’ empowerment components, the organizational learning also increases. Finally the results showed low level of organizational learning in the Melli Bank of Iran which immediate and necessary steps and solutions towards improving this situation are proposed and discussed in the last part of this research.
