Abstract :
There is great interest in sulfide glasses because of their high lithium ion conductivity. New Li2S–Sb2S3 and Li2S–P2S5–Sb2S3 glassy systems have been prepared by a classical quenching technique. Thermal and structural characterization has been carried out. Glass regions are reported and results have been discussed on the basis of the modification that would occur in the base Sb2S3 glass network by the addition of Li2S and P2S5.
