Abstract :
We report on photosensitivities in silver ion doped glasses. We succeeded in precipitation control of silver particles without heat treatment by the irradiation of femtosecond laser pulses. The silver particles can be precipitated in a given location. Therefore it is possible to process a three-dimensional structure. This result should be applicable to functional optical devices.
