Abstract :
An improved synthesis of tetrakis(trimethylstannyl)cyclopentadiene (1) is reported. 1H-, 13C- and 119Sn-NMR data, including a low temperature 119Sn-NMR spectrum in toluene-d8, are given. A crystal structure analysis of 1 is presented.
