Abstract :
Lithium phosphonium azayldiide Ph3PNLi easily prepared in large scale, is a very interesting tool in organic synthesis. It allows the synthesis of primary, secondary, cyclic or functional amines, of α,β-unsaturated, aromatic or heteroaromatic nitriles and of polyheteroatomic linkages (PNP, PNAs, PNS). In coordination chemistry, [Ph3PN−] is a ligand involved in numerous transition metal complexes (Ni, Mo, La, W, Re, Ac: five kinds of structures).
