Abstract
R3SbBr2 (1), RMe2SbBr2 (2), or RMe2SbI2 (3) [R=(Me3Si)2CH] are formed by addition of Br2 or I2 to R3Sb or RMe2Sb. (Me3SiCH2)3Sb(Br)OH (4) is obtained by hydrolyzing 1 or (Me3SiCH2)3SbBr2. The crystal structures of 1, 3, 4 and [(Me3SbBr)2]O (5) [Me=CH3] have been determined.
