Cross-coupling reaction of organobismuth dialkoxides with aryl bromides and iodides catalyzed by Pd(PPh3)4

Cross-coupling reaction of organobismuth compounds bearing 2,6-pyridinedimethoxide ligands with aryl bromides and iodides was efficiently catalyzed by Pd(PPh3)4. Addition of two equivalents of Cs2CO3 or CsF improved the yields of the products, in particular for the reaction of aryl bromides.
