Abstract :
The aging behaviour of negative temperature coefficient ceramics in the system Mn–Ni–Fe–O has been investigated by electrical resistivity measurements and magnetic measurements. Comparison is made between samples cooled in air and in a controlled atmosphere in which no oxidation can occur. The results show that the aging is dependent on composition and the oxidation which occurs during the cooling down after sintering.
