Abstract
For the design and supervision of high temperature components, several software tools were produced in the last few years and experience was acquired in the industry. The programme DESA is adapted to assess multi-heat creep and creep rupture data. Creep equations of heat resistant steels and alloys are available in the programme KARA. In a PC-version, the equations can be presented and modified to express the creep behaviour of a material with similar structure. In a User Subroutine Creep, the equations can be applied to finite element calculations. The programme LARA applies the modified life fraction rule to problems of cyclic creep. © 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
