Abstract :
Novel indoaniline derivatives were synthesized and characterized electrochemically with respect to their abilities to act as electron transfer mediators for lactate oxidase (LOD). A lactate sensor using these derivatives demonstrated the clear independence on oxygen, a result which can never be achieved by H2O2 detecting system and the low interference effects. This sensor could achieve the excellent durability which maintained the >30% of the original activity and good linearity in the range from 0 to 16 mM lactate concentration until day 19.
