Abstract :
An experimental study about the utilization of a commercially available product, Liquicoat® for the fabrication of pH sensors by dip-coating is presented. Mixing Liquicoat® with pH indicators, it was possible to fabricate optical fiber sensors with a wide operation range, the whole acid range from pH 1 to 6 with a response time of less than 90 s.
