Abstract :
For the formation of arachic acid, alkylated calix[4]resorcinarene and β-cyclodextrin compounds films Langmuir–Blodgett method was used. It was found that the dependence of the frequency of the piezoresonance sensor on the number of applied monolayers is linear for all the amphiphiles studied, which is indicative of high quality of the resulting films. The films of amphipiphilic compounds were applied as modifiers of piezoresonance sensor for the nitroalkanes determinations. An important feature of the sensors is reversibility, full regeneration being attained on keeping the resonator in an air stream for 1–3 min. The sensor coatings are characterized by long lifetimes and withstand 80–100 sorption–desorption cycles. The noise level of the sensors was, on average, ±20 Hz.
