A spreadsheet evaluation of nontraditional surface topology functional measures

Nontraditional functional measures derived from the zone distance measure and associated with form error are computed using a spreadsheet formulation. The functional measures seek to extricate the internal structure of the sample data and include the directional density function and related moments, directional distribution function, balance functional, and a touching point functional. A summary description of the spreadsheet implementation is provided and a detailed example is used to illustrate the geometric structure of the induced measures.
