Abstract
Carbon nanofibres decorated with metal nanoparticles were deposited over kapton, a polyimide flexible substrate, onto which array interdigitated electrodes in one side and a common heater in the backside were printed using inkjet printing technique. The control over metal type (as-grown, Au, Pd) and the decoration percentage gave us the possibility to improve the sensors response, and also enhance the selectivity by taking advantage of the different interaction behaviors of tested target gas molecules with different hybrid materials that occur at room temperature.
