Rigidity of multi-story buildings

Bolker and Crapo gave a graph theoretical model of square grid frameworks with diagonal rods of certain squares. The problem of one-story buildings in special cases can be reduced to the planar problems. We would like to consider the general case of the one-story buildings and extend the results to the case of multi-story buildings.
