Abstract
The distinguishing number of G is defined as the minimum number d such that G admits a labeling of vertices with d colors which breaks the symmetry of G under automorphisms. We shall present a theory to analyze the distinguishing number of triangulations on closed surfaces, applying the theory on their re-embedding structures, called panel structures.
Keywords
triangulations on surfaces , re-embedding structures , distinguishing number of graphs
