Abstract :
Adsorption of water vapour onto microporous activated carbons (AC) derived from the carbonization of coconut shell has been studied in static mode as well as in dynamic flow conditions. The isotherms are compared, discussed and fitted to a modified equation of Do et al. The model describes very well the data independently of the acquisition process. The results clearly show the relation between the microporous structure, the evolution of the isotherms and the flow conditions.
