Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the convergence of cascade algorithm associated with the masks with exponential decay. As an application of the characterization of convergence of cascade algorithms in the space L 2 , ∞ ( R ) , we can construct Riesz wavelet bases in L 2 ( R ) with exponential decay.
