Abstract :
In this work, we first define the asymptotic pointwise weaker Meir–Keeler-type ψ -contraction, ψ : X → ℜ + , and then a simple proof for the existence of fixed point theorems for the asymptotic pointwise weaker Meir–Keeler-type ψ -contraction is given.
