Abstract :
The Narumi–Katayama index of a graph G , denoted by N K ( G ) , is equal to the product of the degrees of the vertices of G . For various classes of graphs, we characterize the graphs G for which N K ( G ) assumes an extremal (minimal or maximal) value.
