A Generalization of Waringʹs Formula

Waringʹs formula for expressing power sum symmetric functions in terms of elementary symmetric functions is generalized to monomial symmetric functions with equal exponents by applying the orthogonality property of Ramanujan sums together with the Mِbius function over the set partition lattice.
