Parameters for Sets of Type (m, n) in Projective Planes of Prime Power Order

A set S ofkpoints in a projective plane of orderqis of type (m, n) if each line meets S in eithermornpoints. The parameters are standard ifq=a2fora=n−m. In this note we give a method for determining all admissible non-standard parameters for a givenmandqa prime power.
