Stabilization of dynamical systems with nonlinear actuators

This paper considers the stability analysis of dynamical feedback systems having a saturating actuator. Both uniform asymptotic and bounded-input bounded-output stability are examined and the results are expressed in terms of matrix-norm inequalities. A MATLAB-based algorithm is developed and implemented on a typical system to illustrate the theoretical results.
