Abstract
In this paper, we study the numerical solution of general nonlinear mixed Volterra-Fredholm integral equations by the trapezoidal Nystrِm method. It focuses on the derivation and analysis of asymptotic error expansion of the Nystrِm solution, providing the basis for Richardsonʹs extrapolation. This will greatly increase the accuracy of the numerical solution. Some numerical results are given to illustrate this theory.
