The Essential Uniqueness Property for Operators on Kreǐn Spaces

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the essential uniqueness of the Julia operator of a given transformation are found. Extension theorems for the class of operators with this essential uniqueness property are studied. This requires the consideration of operators X on a Kreǐn space for which XX* = 0.
