Abstract :
This paper presents a mathematical model of the behaviour of a cloud formed immediately after the sudden release of a pollutant. The model is appropriate for either a release into a confined space or as the first stage of a model of release to the atmosphere. ective algorithm is given for determining feasible numerical solutions of the system of constrained nonlinear equations and complementarity relations which constitute the model.
