On the Homotopy Type of the Salvetti Complexes Determined by Simplicial Arrangements

We give an ʹoriented matroid generalizationʹ of the following Deligneʹs theorem [8]: mplement of the complexification of a real simplicial arrangement of hyperplanes is a K(π, 1) space.
