On the convergence of rational functions orthogonal on the unit circle

Rational functions orthogonal on the unit circle with prescribed poles are studied. We establish some convergence theorems for the orthogonal rational functions. We generalize some of the results for Szegő polynomials to rational orthogonal functions.
