New hypergeometric transformations

The elementary manipulation of series is applied to obtain a quite general transformation involving hypergeometric functions. Hypergeometric identities not previously recorded in the literature are then deduced by means of Gaussʹs summation theorem and other hypergeometric summation theorems.
