Pure Infiniteness of Spectral Algebras

For a large class of Arvesonʹs spectral algebras (those not associated to product systems of type III) we establish their pure infiniteness. Together with our earlier results on the K-theory of these algebras it follows that this class equals {O2⊗K}.
