Double exponential transformation in the Sinc-collocation method for two-point boundary value problems

In 1974, Takahasi and Mori proposed the double exponential transformation for efficient evaluation of integrals of an analytic function with end point singularity. Recently, it has turned out that the double exponential transformation is also useful for various kinds of Sinc methods. In the present paper, we consider the Sinc-collocation method for two-point boundary value problems to show that the method can be considerably enhanced when incorporated with the double exponential transformation technique.
