Abstract
This paper deals with a weighted average scheme (or θ -scheme) for solving a nonlinear singularly perturbed parabolic reaction–diffusion problem. The uniform convergence of the weighted average scheme on piecewise uniform and log-meshes is established. Numerical experiments are presented.
