Power for the Millennium Project at Greenwich

This article describes London Electricityʹs recently completed project to provide a 44MW supply for tlie Millennium Site at Greenwich. The works included construction of a new tunnel under the River Thames, installation of twelve 11 R V circuits in the tunnel and around the Dome, and installation of eight container substations 11m aboveground level in large cylinder structures exterior to the Dome. The article reviews how the project was designed, planned and executed to a successful conclusion.
