Note on atomic doubling measures, quasisymmetrically thin sets and thick sets

A criterion that X carries only purely atomic doubling measures and a criterion that X does not carry any purely atomic doubling measures are both formulated, where X is a compact subset of R with F ¯ X = X and F X is the set of its isolated points. Analogues are also obtained for quasisymmetrically thin sets and thick sets.
