Cauchy problem for doubly nonlinear parabolic equations with initial data measures

We study the existence of solutions for the doubly nonlinear parabolic equation with strongly nonlinear source under optimal assumptions on the initial data, which are assumed to be measures. We also obtain some local regularity estimates for the supercritical case q > m ( p − 1 ) + p / N .
