A new method in static structural reliability

A new method to determine the static structural reliability is presented in this paper. This method takes advantage of the fact that isoprobabilistic transformation, in particular the Rosenblattʹs transform, maps infinite Euclidean space into a unit hypercube and in doing so, reduces the problem of computing probability content of infinite region to a problem of computing a finite volume. The method is applied to several examples including a well-known example with multiple design points.
