Abstract :
The method of building a control model of maintainability level is presented based on using regression analysis. To carry out the structure of the model, the realization system of maintainability design is taken into account. To specify model inputs, maintainability as a complexity property of technical system is considered. Maintainability attributes are accepted as model outputs which in the synthetic way are determined a maintainability level of a technical system. They can be taken over from the set of maintainability indices, for example: mean active repair time (corrective), etc. A control model of maintainability level for 67 ship engines of Sulzer RD and RND types has been developed. The considered control model can be applied to the improvement of design which leads to the modification of technical systems.
