Seismic risk evaluation for high voltage air insulated substations

This paper describes the results of the analytical and experimental activities performed by ISMES for the evaluation of the structural reliability of electrical substations with respect to seismic events. In the following, the reference station is described along with the methods used to define the site seismic input, the analytical and experimental evaluation of the componentsʹ fragility curves and the whole station seismic risk evaluation.
