Abstract :
The reliability of a consecutive k-out-of-n:G system is studied. The system may involve dependent trials, so that the probability of success of a certain test is increased after carrying out corrective actions. The problem is solved via a matrix formulation, using state space methods. Results are shown to correlate for the case of independent trials with those in the literature.
