Topological properties of differentiable maps derived from 2-toral endomorphisms

We consider one-parameter families of Cr regular maps starting at hyperbolic toral endomorphisms on the 2-torus T2. We show that some perturbations of them satisfy Axiom A as in the case of diffeomorphisms. We also prove that the Hausdorff dimension of the nonwandering set is continuous across the bifurcation.
