Reflecting Lindelِfness

We consider the question of whether uncountable Lindelöf spaces have Lindelöf subspaces of size ℵ1. T3 plus countability conditions yield affirmative results under CH, but T1 need not in ZFC. We also obtain some positive results by collapsing large cardinals.
