Fixed point classes on symmetric product spaces

Any self-map f : X → X on a topological space X induces naturally a self-map SP n f on the symmetric product space SP n X of X. We shall show some relations among the fixed point classes of SP n f and those of f together with iterates. Some inter-actions between fixed points and periodic points are obtained.
