The graph spaces of connectivity maps

Connectivity maps and peripherally continuous maps are characterized by properties of the topologies they induce on their domains, and from this perspective, standard results on the connection between these functions are simplified and generalized. Another consequence is that the class of spaces known to have the fixed point property is enlarged. The preliminary work in Section 1 gives a new condition sufficient for the quasi-components of a set to be connected.
