The virtual solvability of the fundamental group of a compact complete flat spacetime of type (n − 2, 2)

In this paper, we give a partial answer concerned with Auslanderʹs conjecture. It is shown that every crystallographic subgroup of E(n − 2, 2) is virtually solvable.
